      • Dear Tina, thank you for letting me know. I am heartbroken, I loved Ajay, he was so kind and generous, it is devastating to learn this.

      • I talked to Ajay’s brother this morning and he said he had cardiac arrest do you know anymore other then that? I talked to Ajay on my birthday Aug. 6 and then again on Aug. 8 but he didn’t mention feeling anything other then his usual breathlessness. It’s so wonderful that you posted I could not do that as I am devastated, Ajay and I have been friends since I started blogging last year. He’s been so helpful with my daughter Alex and so wonderful and kind. We all will miss him so much!

      • Ajay’s heart had been damaged by the harsh treatment for his Cancer. I was chatting with him when he began to have chest pains on Friday after his market closed, around 3:30pm Mumbai time. I spoke with him again, for the last time, on Saturday when he said he was feeling weak and that he must take utmost care. We exchanged our last “I love yous” and he said he would rest. I did not hear from him on Sunday. Monday, I called and his brother spoke those horrible words that are now burned into my soul. Please, pray for his family, especially his lovely mom as Ajay is the third child she has had to mourn. Blessings upon Michelle.

      • Oh I know when we skyped and chatted I used to talk to her very little but it was fun seeing her. I’m so glad you got to talk to him before he passed. We too exchanged I love yous a lot I think that’s something I’m just now realizing is how many beautiful souls he loved such as yourself. Blessing to you and I hope some peace!

      • Yes, he gave so much of himself to everyone but felt that he gave little to any. He was so humble and loving. Peace and blessing to you and your family Michelle. We, Ajay’s friends, are a collective family in deep mourning. It is good we have one another to provide comfort too.

  2. I am very sorry. Life is so unfair. I met him recently. A generous response to my desire to cognize better the Indian culture, promising it would help me with the some advice. And this is impressive.

Regret nespus. Viaţa e aşa de nedreaptă. L-am cunoscut de curând. A răspuns cu generozitate dorinţei mele de a cunoşate mai bine cultura indiană, promiţând că mă va ajuta cu un sfat. Şi a făctu acest lucru.

    • Corina,

Life is incredibly unfair but then we were never promised a life of ease. Ajay was a wonderful man to whom I am eternally grateful. The Indian culture is fascinating and he represented a beautiful piece of it. In fact, he represented a beautiful piece of humanity! Blessings upon you.
